This policy covers this website and the enquiries that reach AUTO BAY OF BRANDON LLC through it. It does not cover a carrier's or a lender's own systems — those have their own policies.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Name, phone number, email address and whatever you write about the unit you are interested in or the repair you need.
- Call records. If you phone the desk, we keep a note of the enquiry and the unit number so the next person who answers knows the history.
- Site logs. Our host records the usual technical data — IP address, user agent, requested page — for security and to keep the site up. We do not build profiles from it.
What we do not collect
- There is no account and no newsletter: this site has no sign-up and no mailing list.
- There is no contact form on this site, so no form data is stored by the website itself.
- We do not buy or rent contact lists, and we do not sell your details.
Why we hold it
To answer your question, to quote a unit or a repair, to arrange transport and paperwork if you buy, and to keep the records a vehicle sale legally requires. Nothing else.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not turn into a sale is kept while it is useful and then deleted — ask us and we will delete it sooner. Records of a completed sale (title, bill of sale, invoice) are kept for the period the law requires, because we cannot trade without them.
Who sees it
- Our own staff at the desk and in the workshop.
- A carrier, but only the delivery address and a receiving contact — never your payment details.
- A lender, only if you ask us to arrange financing and only with your agreement.
- Our host and email provider, as technical processors.
